Prince William was reportedly perplexed by Prince Harry’s behavior.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip to South Africa was about to end, the couple surprised many when they announced that they were filing a lawsuit against Mail on Sunday. Days after that, Prince Harry sued The Mirror and The Sun for an alleged phone hacking.

Royal followers felt that Prince Harry and Markle were starting a war against the media. According to Richard Kay, Prince William had issues with the media too, but he dealt with it differently than Prince Harry.

“He is certainly perplexed by his brother’s behaviour and believes he has handled some of the issues unwisely. He, too, has had some difficult moments in the media spotlight, including Kate being photographed topless before they married and the ensuing legal fight with the paparazzi,” Kay wrote for Daily Mail.

An insider revealed that unlike Prince Harry, Prince William dealt with the media intrusion differently.

“He dealt with these matters in a mature and considered way,” a friend said. “He didn’t allow them to become psychodramas in the way Harry seems to.”

Prince William remains the same figure who looks out for his younger brother at school. Although he might find Prince Harry’s outbursts uncomfortable, Kay wrote that the future king “will always be there” for his younger brother.

During Prince Harry’s interview with ITV, he revealed that he and Prince William were on different paths. However, the Duke of Sussex said that they will always be brothers.

An insider told The Sun that Prince Harry was not in great shape and was not well. The duke was not declaring war on anyone in the royal family despite claims that he just confirmed their feud with his statement.

In related news, Princess Diana played a role in Prince Harry and Prince William’s rift. The two princes reportedly had a falling-out when the future king told his younger brother to slow down with his romance with Meghan Markle because they barely knew her.

Kay said that it was Princess Diana who told Prince William to befriend the person he was about to marry. Princess Diana reportedly felt that had she and Prince Charles started as friends, they would have not separated.
