Many royal followers were saddened after it was confirmed that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi’s upcoming wedding was canceled temporarily due to the growing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. Most, in not all, fans are thrilled to witness another royal wedding. However, it seems like Princess Beatrice and Edoardo still have to wait a little more before they could, finally, tie the knot.

“Princess Beatrice and Mr. Mapelli-Mozzi are very much looking forward to getting married but are equally aware of the need to avoid undertaking any unnecessary risks in the current circumstances. In line with the government advice for the UK and beyond, the couple are reviewing their arrangements for 29th May,” a Buckingham Palace statement read, per royal correspondent Omid Scobie.

The cancelation could be a hard pill to swallow for the royal family and devoted supporters of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi. However, it did not stop some tabloids to publish some phony claims about the couple.

Life and Style Weekly, in its upcoming April 27, 2020 issue, claimed that Princess Beatrice is worrying that she may never make it down the aisle after the heartbreaking postponement. The entertainment news outlet stated that the princess’ fiancé is still in contact with his ex-ladylove, American architect Dara Huang, and it bothers Bea to the bone.

The sister of Princess Eugenie is, allegedly, anxious that Edoardo and Dara’s amicable relationship could affect the fate of her canceled wedding. However, no concrete pieces of evidence can back up these claims as of press time.

“Dara still cuts Edo’s hair. She takes him shopping and gives him back rubs. Bea tries to set boundaries but nothing seems to work. She’s starting to feel like the third wheel when it should be the other way around,” an unnamed source told the magazine.

If previous reports are to be believed, however, Princess Beatrice and Dara Huang are getting along just fine. In fact, Tatler reported that the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson plans to include Dara's two-year-old son Wolfie in her wedding entourage. The publication shared that he is likely to act as Edoardo’s best man.

Both Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi have yet to comment on these reports. However, with Star Magazine’s reputation for publishing fabricated reports based on the statements of its anonymous and unreliable sources, this could be another work of fiction waiting to be quashed. So, supporters of the royal pair should take everything with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
