KEY POINTS

  • Princess Beatrice's royal wedding could take place at the end of the year
  • Princess Beatrice could wear a non-traditional dress at her royal wedding
  • Princess Beatrice could show her rebellious side at her royal wedding

Princess Beatrice could showcase her rebellious side on her wedding day to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Even though the date for the royal couple’s wedding has not yet been confirmed, there are already some predictions with regards to her dress, venue, and more.

While speaking with Express, stylist Melita Latham said that Princess Beatrice’s wedding dress could be very different from Kate Middleton's and Meghan Markle's. After all, her royal wedding could be the perfect place for the future bride to show off her own style.

“You can’t help but admire her confident and genuinely unique dress sense. At more formal engagements she attempts conformity, but her underlying rebel nature is never far from the surface,” she said.

When Kate Middleton tied the knot in 2011, she opted to wear a traditional white gown designed by Alexander McQueen. Meghan Markle’s wedding gown during her 2018 nuptials was also deemed to be quite simple.

But according to Latham, Princess Beatrice’s gown could even be of a different color. It is possible for her attire to be veiled and quite lacy.

“We should expect a lustrous fabric, dress, rich in detail with possibly rather more color than you would expect at a royal wedding. Whatever color and style, Princess Beatrice, a confident and intelligent young woman, will share with us - through her gown - a piece of her personality and nature,” she said.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice also made headlines this week after it was revealed that her royal wedding reception could take place at Buckingham Palace. Even though Queen Elizabeth initially refused to allow her granddaughter to wed in Windsor, she offered the palace for Princess Beatrice’s wedding reception.

A source told Daily Mail that Princess Beatrice is grateful for the Queen’s sweet and generous gestures. As such, it is possible that she will accept it.

And according to Town & Country, Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding may take place at the end of the year. Initially, it was scheduled for spring.
