Princess Diana gave Prince William wonderful advice when it comes to dealing with photographers or the paparazzi while growing up.

In the documentary “When Kate Met William: A Tale of Two Lives,” Princess Diana’s former protection officer Ken Wharfe said that Princess Diana gave her eldest son the useful advice while they were on the way to his first day of school.

While in the car, Princess Diana reminded a young Prince William that it was an important day in his life so he needed to be very careful. Prince William asked his mom what she met, and Princess Diana told him that there would be a lot of photographers waiting for him.

Upon hearing this, Prince William told his mom that he doesn’t like the photographers. Princess Diana said that she’s aware of this but still told the future King that he needs to get used to it.

As second in line to the throne, Princess Diana knew that Prince William’s life would be of great interest to the public. And as he got older and become more aware of who he was, it didn’t take that long for Prince William to realize that there was something special about him.

“But to his credit, and to the credit of his mother, she tried desperately to make sure he had as normal an upbringing as possible,” he said.

Many years later, it was Prince William’s turn to accompany his eldest child, Prince George, on his first day in a big school. When Prince George got out of the car last year, he held on to his dad’s hand tightly. Prince William looked extremely proud of his son, and he might have given him the same advice that Princess Diana gave him.

Prince George didn’t cause a scene, and he didn’t cry. He simply walked towards the school’s gate with a poker face. A year later, Prince William and Middleton may also accompany their second child, Princess Charlotte, to a bigger school. The 3-year-old is currently studying at Willock’s Nursery School in London.
