Princess Eugenie is officially a mom after welcoming her firstborn with husband Jack Brooksbank.

Prince William and Prince Harry's cousin announced her pregnancy in September. Princess Eugenie didn't reveal how far she was along during her pregnancy in her announcement and only shared that her bundle of joy would be arriving in early 2021. On Tuesday, the Princess of York shared her first family photo with her newborn son on Instagram.

In the black and white photo, one can see three hands including a little one of the newborn baby. Princess Eugenie is holding the baby's fingers, Brooksbank is gently holding his son's wrist. Princess Eugenie didn't write anything in the caption except for three blue heart emoji.

The post was flooded with warm messages for the couple. The netizens were happy for the royal couple and for the arrival of their bundle of joy.

"Huge congratulations! Welcome to another baby boy in the family," one commented.

"Congrats Mom and Dad!" another added.

"Congratulations blessings to the parents and the little baby," another wrote.

"Congrats to you both on your little boy," a fourth user commented.

"Congratulations on your new arrival and guessing that it’s a boy," a fifth follower added.

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank welcomed a boy weighing 8 lbs and 1 oz on Tuesday. The child is Queen Elizabeth II's ninth great-grandchild and the first grandchild for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, People reported.

"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 8: 55 a.m. at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present," the palace announced on Instagram.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news," the palace added. "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

Ferguson told Us Weekly in an interview last month that Princess Eugenie would be a "present" mom to her child. She also praised her daughter for being "incredibly empathetic," strong and determined. Meanwhile, the Duchess of York said she would be a "fantastic" grandmother.
