Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were mocked after Sarah Ferguson called them victims amid Prince Andrew’s ongoing sexual abuse scandal.

During her previous interview with Vogue, the Duchess of York said that the past six months have been very hard on her and her daughters.

On Twitter, however, people urged Ferguson to keep quiet since she is no longer legally married to Prince Andrew.

“Tell your wifey none wifey to shut up, no one wants her opinion, she’s as crooked as you,” Twitter user @BernieSutton7 wrote.

“I think the pity play, especially calling the princesses pathetic victims, it’s a mistake, it immediately paints a comparison between real teenage victims and rich pampered adults. For PR purposes, they’d do better by expressing concern for actual victims. I have no sympathy,” Twitter user @JDreamer731 said.

Twitter user @jebrittan2 also uploaded a screenshot of Cosmopolitan with the headline “Eugenie and Beatrice Have Been ‘Going Through Hell’ Since Their Dad Prince Andrew Stepped Down.”

The publication quoted Us Weekly’s source, who revealed that the royal siblings have been leaning on their respective partners during this difficult time.

“Eugenie’s husband and Beatrice’s fiancé are standing by them and are doing everything they can to distract the girls from the situation and calm them down. There have been scandals surrounding Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in the past, and while this is the worst yet, they know that marrying into the royal family comes with its ups and downs,” the source said.

Shortly after, one of Prince Andrew’s accusers, Virginia Giuffre acknowledged the fact that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie could really be going through hell. She also said that she doesn’t have anything against the sisters.

“Their father should have thought about that before he decided to hang around known pedos and even participate in their abuse,” she tweeted.

As of late, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have not publicly opened up about their dad’s scandal.
