Priyanka Chopra opened up about people who tried to "jeopardize her career" and how she felt about it.

During an appearance on "The Ranveer Show" on Wednesday, the 40-year-old Indian actress explained that only a few people are "happy for somebody else's success." However, the actress felt that is a "natural instinct" to feel jealous.

"Our generation should say, 'Hold on. Why is my natural instinct (when someone is successful) to be jealous... to be envious?" she said. "Why is my natural instinct not saying, wow, you've done so great."

Chopra revealed that even she had "people wanting to jeopardize" her career. She explained how those people wanted to take away her work and make sure that she wasn't cast just because she was doing well.

The "Quantico" star shared how she deals with such people. "I don't sit and wait on and harp on... I mean, maybe I'll cry one night or the other when an opportunity was taken away from me but I don't sit in the sh-t."

She went on to advise, "You have to shut off those noises. There are so many people that'll want to pull you down but don't focus on that. Focus on the one person who believes in you."

Chopra won Miss World in 2000 and then started working in Indian movies. She has starred in films like "Don," "Dil Dhadakne Do" and "Bajirao Mastani." Considering her career in Hollywood, she rose to fame with the TV series, "Quantico," which aired from 2015 to 2018.

She later featured in the popular TV series, "Baywatch," as Dwayne Johnson's love interest. The actress was last seen in Keanu Reeves' movie, "The Matrix Resurrections," as Sati. The flick was dropped in December last year.

Her upcoming projects include "Citadel," "Sheela," "Ending Things," "Jee Le Zaraa," "Cowboy Ninja Viking" and "It's All Coming Back to Me," which was originally titled "Love Again."

On the personal front, Chopra got married to singer Nick Jonas in 2018 after dating for seven months. The couple welcomed their first baby, Malti Marie, on Jan. 15 this year via surrogacy.
