At its recent PlayStation 5 event, Sony Interactive Entertainment finally unveiled the full design of the PS5 hardware. However, several fans were disappointed because they expected that the Japanese console maker would also reveal the price of the upcoming gaming console. Ahead of the official announcement, a reputable industry insider shared the recommended retail price and the release date of Sony’s PS5, the DualSense controller and its accessories.

PS5 Recommended Retail Price

On Twitter, reliable tipster IronManPS5 shared a new set of information that PlayStation fans have long been wanting to hear. In a  tweet, the industry insider claimed that Sony would release the PS5 in several countries on the holiday of 2020. Interestingly, he claimed that the next generation gaming console would be released in Europe and North America on Nov 20, 2020.

Aside from the specific release date, IronmanPS5 shared that the recommended retail price of the PS5 is £449, €499 and $499, respectively. In another tweet, he detailed that the PS5 Digital Edition would arrive on the same date but will have a recommended tag price of £349, €399 and $399.

DualSense Controller Price And Release Date

In addition to the release date and recommended retail price of both the standard and digital edition version of the PS5, the tipster also revealed the price of the DualSense controller. According to him, the controller's charging cradle will retail at €29.99, £24.99 and $29.99. Meanwhile, the HD camera will be available at €59.99, £54.99 and $59.99.

The industry insider also claimed that the price of the PS5 remote will be €29.99, £24.99 and $29.99. The Pulse 3D Wireless headset will retail at €179, £129 and $159. All of these will be reportedly available in North America and Europe starting Nov 20, 2020.

Other PS5 Details

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced last year that the PS5 would arrive sometime in the holiday of 2020. In one of his interviews, SIE CEO Jim Ryan assured fans that despite the effects of the global health crisis, its next-generation gaming console is still right. It is worth mentioning that while the latest set of information about the price and release date of the PS5, DualSense and its accessories are interesting, these are not official.
