Queen Elizabeth II attended a church service with Prince William and Kate Middleton but without Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

On Sunday, the monarch was photographed on her way to attend the first service for the year. Her Majesty looked elegant in her tan wool coat with fur trim. She matched her ensemble with a hat.

Queen Elizabeth II was accompanied by the other members of the royal family including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The couple was all smiles as they passed the well-wishers who have been waiting to see them.

Middleton stunned in her blue Catherine Walker coat. The future queen paired it with a matching headband.

On the other hand, Prince William was equally dashing in his navy suit and wool overcoat. The future king paired it with a red tie.

Prince Philip, Prince Harry and Markle were noticeably missing from the said outing. It remains unknown why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t make it.

Days before the New Year, Queen Elizabeth II also attended a service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. At the time, she was accompanied by Prince Edward and Lady Louise. Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle were missing that day.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were last seen with Queen Elizabeth II during the royals’ traditional Christmas day service. On the said outing, the fab four, who were rumored to be having a rift, appeared friendly. Middleton and Markle were even seen smiling and chatting.

Prince William and Middleton used to split their Christmas holidays between the royals and the Middletons. However, in 2018 they decided to spend it with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip due to their advancing years.

Due to their decision, the Duchess of Cambridge missed her family’s best holiday vacation. The Middletons headed to St. Barths to celebrate the occasion in the beach. Carole and Michael were joined by the duchess’s younger siblings James and Pippa, who were also accompanied by their partners. Pippa’s husband James Matthews and James’s girlfriend Alizee Thevenet were present on the outing.

According to Morgan Halberg, a journalist for Observer, the Middletons’ family outing appeared more fun than spending the holidays in Sandringham. He was also convinced that it was the Middletons’ best family holiday vacation.
