Queen Elizabeth II attended a church service with another royal, but she’s neither Kate Middleton nor Meghan Markle.

On Sunday, the monarch was photographed attending a morning church service at St. Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate. The 92-year-old senior royal was accompanied by her daughter-in-law Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who is married to her youngest son, Prince Edward. The Earl of Wessex and his 15-year-old daughter Lady Louise Windsor also attended the service, People reported.

Queen Elizabeth II wore a festive red and gray tweed coat. She paired it with a matching feathered hat.

On the other hand, Sophie gave a nod to the upcoming holiday by wearing a green dress. She paired it with a brown hat and coat.

The royals will reunite at the Queen’s Norfolk estate for Christmas. Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle will be there despite their rumored rift. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided not to split their holidays between the royal family and the Middletons due to the Queen and Prince Philip’s advancing ages.

According to a report, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex turned down the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s offer to stay at their Georgian country house. Prince William and Middleton will enjoy a spacious and peaceful stay at their extensively refurbished home. On the other hand, Prince Harry and Markle will be housed in Sandringham with other guests and will be “packed in like sardines” under the Queen’s roof.

Queen Elizabeth II took the public train when she traveled to Sandringham from London on Thursday. She was photographed in a light brown topcoat with a stylish Burberry headscarf at King’s Lynn Station. She also wore black gloves and Gucci loafers.

According to an insider, the Queen walked alongside her security. She briefly mingled with the other passengers before finding her seat in first class.

Her Majesty was noticeably on her own and without Prince Philip on the said trip. Last year, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Sandringham together.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip spend most of their time in separate homes. However, they still make time to see each other.

According to an insider, the Duke of Edinburgh spends most of his time at Wood Farm. The 97-year-old royal reportedly loves the place since it’s peaceful and away from the public eye.
