Queen Elizabeth II faces another royal divorce.

According to royal experts, the monarch no longer wants to have any divorce during her reign. Her Majesty already faced three divorces from her children Prince Charles, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew and thought that she has had enough. However, this year two divorces hit the royal family.

Just last week, Peter and Autumn Phillips announced that they were divorcing. Today, the Queen’s nephew, David Armstrong-Jones, the Earl of Snowdon, also announced that he and his wife Serena decided to party ways, Express first reported.

Princess Margaret’s son and Serena, the Countess of Snowdon, have both filed for divorce after 26 years of marriage. Their divorce is expected to be finalized later this year.

“The Earl and Countess of Snowdon have amicably agreed that their marriage has come to an end and that they shall be divorced. They ask that the press respect their privacy and that of their family,” their spokesman said.

An insider said that David and Serena both agreed that their marriage was already not working. In fact, they have been living separate lives for some time. However, they are determined to handle their separation in a civilized manner. The insider added that “there is no blame or acrimony on either side,” they just felt that it was time to move on.

A week ago, spokesman Gerard Franklin made a similar announcement for Princess Anne’s son. According to the statement released, Peter and Autumn informed the Queen and the other members of the royal family about their separation in 2019.

“They had reached the conclusion that this was the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship. The decision to divorce and share custody came about after many months of discussions and although sad, is an amicable one,” the statement read.

“Both families were naturally sad at the announcement, but fully supportive of Peter and Autumn in the joint decision to co-parent their children.”

Meanwhile, Twitter users speculate that Meghan Markle will divorce Prince Harry after they decided to leave the royal family. One online user shared his opinion saying that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will get a divorce within the next 3 to 4 years. Also, the divorce is imminent because Markle is suffering from a “two-year itch.” Several major things in Markle’s life didn’t last longer than 2 to 3 years.
