Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received a prime suite at Buckingham Palace.

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to split from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They also left Kensington Palace and are now staying in Buckingham Palace.

According to Dan Wootton, executive editor of The Sun, the new parents were granted a prime suite in Buckingham as their new office. Prince Harry and Markle’s new team will be based in up to six large room off the lavish master corridor. However, the royal staff grumbled.

“The Palace traditionalists are grumpy that such a prime space is being given over to Harry and Meghan, who have perfectly adequate offices already at Kensington Palace,” a royal insider said.

At present, the rooms are unused and can be booked by anyone at the palace. Now, that it was given to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, it would no longer be as accessible to everyone as it was.

“There are a lot of people trying to cause trouble for the Duke and Duchess as a result of this move,” the insider continued.

“But the facts are they were offered these rooms by the master of the household because they are currently unoccupied and used as meeting rooms. They will be reserved for Harry and Meghan when they are at the Palace but the permanent space is shared for the staff.”

The source added that there will be no renovation or any work to be done in the office because the couple has no budget. They will just use the current furniture and install new desks.

Another source said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not have the same financial resources as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They won’t be hiring like Prince William and Middleton. Their entourage is also low-key compared to other royals.

Prince Harry and Markle were criticized earlier for spending millions of dollars for the renovation of their home. The taxpayers foot the bill, but the couple is very secretive when it comes to their son.

The Brits were not happy that the first-time parents made baby Archie’s baptism private, with some saying that they can be private individuals if they stick to private funding and not use the public’s money.
