Princess Diana would have been jealous of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle if she were still alive.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex never had the chance to personally meet and bond with Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom. Royal experts believe that the late Princess of Wales would have been a “good mother-in-law.” However, she would have been jealous of Middleton and Markle since she was a very protective mom to her sons.

“Kate would have found Diana very helpful and a good mother-in-law,” Dickie Arbiter, former press secretary of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, told Daily Mail.

“With every mother there's a little bit of jealousy when their son finds another woman and no mother can put her hand on her heart and say they're not concerned. They are. To every mother, no woman is good enough for her son.”

Patrick Jephson, former private secretary, believed that Princess Diana would have helped Middleton and Markle especially in building their own family because for sure she would want her sons and grandchildren to be happy.

“We can imagine that Diana would have made a very good mentor and would have put an importance on that because she would understand it would directly affect the future happiness of her sons and grandchildren,” Jephson said.

“She would have had an investment in the future happiness of her own children.”

Meanwhile, Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, said that if Princess Diana were alive Prince Harry might not have married Markle because she would not want someone who was previously married for her son. Also, the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex might have a tricky relationship because the People’s Princess wouldn’t have liked Markle’s control over Prince Harry.

In related news, Prince William and Middleton’s marriage was tested when earlier this year rumors broke that the second-in-line to the throne cheated on his wife with a family friend named Rose Hanbury. However, the couple showed no signs of a strained marriage when they watched Wimbledon on Monday.

Contrary to reports, Prince William and Middleton are still very much in love with each other. Also, their “vibes are stronger than ever post-scandal.”
