Queen Elizabeth II looked very unhappy at Royal Ascot.

Last week, the Queen made several appearances at Royal Ascot. However, in the photos shared by New Idea, the monarch looked “very unhappy” while staring at a man who was puffing on a cigar near her.

In the first photo, the Queen has a big frown on her face as she looks a the man with a top hat and sunglasses puffing on his cigar allowing the smoke to float all the way into the Queen’s air space.

In the second photo, the monarch went on and exerted an effort of peering around the pillar to stare at the smoker in an attempt to encourage him to stop smoking.

The Queen was present at the opening of Royal Ascot. She was spotted arriving in an elegant blue dress coat. She was joined by Prince Andrew, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima on the carriage. Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William and Kate Middleton were also there.

Upon arrival, the Queen was spotted alone as she turned around the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who appeared distracted. Prince William and Middleton were later seen walking away in a different direction.

On the same event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were photographed sharing the same umbrella. A number of netizens felt that the scene was reminiscent of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s sweet moment during their Australia tour when they were in Dubbo.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t make an appearance at the Royal Ascot. It is believed that they are at home looking after their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

However, Prince Harry stepped out sans Markle at the National Geographic event. Prince William’s attendance at the surprise engagement was deemed unofficial because it wasn’t listed on the court circular. However, it was believed to be a preparation as they are heading to Africa for their first official tour as a family.

Meanwhile, Markle is blamed for the royal family split. Some netizens felt that Markle was behind the Sussexes and Cambridges split because prior to her arrival, Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry get along pretty well.
