Queen Elizabeth II reportedly can't forgive Camilla Parker Bowles for something she failed to give to Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

The monarch was not happy with the Prince of Wales' affair with Camilla. Tom Bower claimed in his book, "Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles," that the Queen was furious with the Duchess of Cornwall and couldn't forgive her for not giving Prince Charles and Princess Diana the chance to save their marriage.

"She would not condone his adultery, nor forgive Camilla for not leaving Charles alone to allow his marriage to recover," Bower wrote (via Express).

The British journalist added that Prince Charles approached Her Majesty for the possibility of welcoming Camilla to the royal fold while he was still married to the People's Princess. The monarch reacted angrily and Prince Charles ended up calling Camilla in tears.

In the same book, Bower wrote that Queen Elizabeth II "actively disapproved" of Camilla for Prince Charles even after both were already divorced. In fact, she didn't want to see the Duchess of Cornwall in any royal function.

"The Queen and Prince Philip knew everything about Prince Charles' relationship with Camilla; the Queen said I will not have that woman in my presence," Christopher Wilson, a royal biographer, said on Netflix's documentary "The Royal House of Windsor."

In the summer of 1998, Camilla was annoyed because Prince Charles insisted that she still keeps a low profile when she wanted to join the future king on holidays. She couldn't understand because it had been a year since Princess Diana's death and they still couldn't bring their relationship to the open.

Prince Philip didn't support Prince Charles and Camilla's affair, too In fact, in a letter addressed to Princess Diana, the Duke of Edinburgh called his own son, Prince Charles, "silly" for leaving Prince William and Prince Harry's mom for Camilla.

According to Dr. Piers Brendan, the royal family ruled out Camilla for Prince Charles because she was deemed as a woman with "experience." "It was absolutely vital to have on the throne somebody who was a virgin," Brendan explained. "A future Queen must have no past."
