He had gone to DiMera Mansion to help his sister, unaware of the danger she was facing at the time. Now, after he wound up getting shot by the Cartel member holding her and Ciara hostage, Rafe’s life will hang in the balance as he’s rushed to the hospital on the Friday, April 19 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Rafe (Galen Gering) wound up being shot as he came into the living room at the mansion, where an El Fideo Cartel member was holding her and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) hostage as he waited for Stefan (Brandon Barash), who he wanted to kill on the NBC soap. When he tried to shoot towards Stefan and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) however, Rafe walked into the room—and after Gabi dove to protect Stefan, the bullet hit him instead.

Now, his life is on the line and spoilers reveal that he is “rushed to the hospital,” as the battle to save him is on.

Naturally, Gabi is terrified that she might lose her brother and will be hoping against all hope he can be saved. However, her grief over what happened could wind up manifesting itself in a way she never expected as well.

“Gabi kisses Stefan,” spoilers reveal.

Gabi has been trying to seduce Stefan as part of a plot but has some real feelings for him which she continues to deny. Now, after he quickly got help to the mansion following Rafe’s shooting, she may wind up acting on her feelings as she thanks him for it.

Of course, the drama with Rafe still won’t be all that’s happening in Salem, as Ciara will still be at risk because the Cartel member, because spoilers tease that her mother won’t be heading to the hospital to await word on her husband, because she’ll be busy teaming up with Ben to rescue her daughter before she also gets hurt.

In addition, Ted’s (Gilles Marini) dirty deeds may also soon be exposed, as spoilers hint that Eli (Lamon Archey) “overhears Ted on a mysterious phone call,” one which he was already on and seemed angry had happened when it did.
