“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 has reportedly begun shooting, however, longtime cast member Nene Leakes has not filmed any scenes with her co-stars. Although the Swagg Boutique owner has not been fired from the reality series, her return to the small screen is up in the air.

After the “RHOA” Season 11, Nene cut ties with most of her cast members and even lashed out at reunion host, Andy Cohen. Months after the episode special, the show has reportedly begun filming a new season without one of its most popular cast members.

Last week, LoveBScott.com published an article claiming producers have grown tired of Nene’s behavior and have forced her to “sit out” the first part of the new season. During “RHOA” Season 11, Nene’s “Bye Wig” party took a violent turn after she attacked a cameraman, who attempted to film inside of her closet.

“[He] got choked up, scratched up, and went to the hospital,” Porsha Williams revealed during the reunion in March.

Despite the altercation, Nene’s rep has denied the report claiming the network has stopped the star from appearing on camera.

“I can say with authority that there is absolutely no truth to this. The only reason why she’s not currently shooting is because she is still in active negotiations with her contract,” the spokesperson told Us Weekly.

While cast members like Kenya Moore and Porsha have reportedly begun filming for the season, Nene has yet to come to secure her spot on the reality series.

Unfortunately for fans who are eager to know the cast line up for the upcoming season, the network doesn’t usually comment on shows that are in production.

Bravo has not announced a premiere date for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12.
