“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 premiere is only a few days away, and cast member Nene Leakes is excited for what’s to come. During a recent interview, she teased what she hopes viewers will get out of the season and addressed Kenya Moore’s return.

Following the “RHOA” Season 11 reunion, Nene appeared to end her friendships with a majority of the cast and unfollowed them on social media. When the new season airs, the tension will continue, but Nene is hoping the drama will change the opinion of longtime fans.

The 51-year-old told Us Weekly that she is looking forward to exposing the truth about her cast members. “I’m excited for them to finally, or hopefully, I will be praying with my wig off, they get to show some of [my costars’] true colors this season and show who they truly are,” she explained.

“So I hope that that will come full circle. And let’s see some of the real bullies that are around here. And let’s see, I hope they show, some of the gang up. Because there’s a lot of ganging up.”

Nene went on to suggest that fans will see Cynthia Bailey in a new light. “I think you really need to tune in to see what happens,” NeNe said.

Nene and Cynthia were friends for several years, but the friendship began to fall apart during “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12. Although Cynthia was aware that Nene and Kenya were not on good terms, she invited the two to the same event.

The incident left Nene feeling betrayed by Cynthia, who she believes should have warned her that Kenya was invited to the gathering.

Nene told the outlet that viewers will be surprised by Cynthia’s behavior in the new season. “I think, and I will put that in capital letters, THINK. OK? That they may, they might for once try to show Cynthia the way she truly is on camera,” she teased.

“They may decide to show that maybe once, honey. … Maybe once they’ll decide to show who she really is on camera. Because who you guys have known her to be over the years is not who she is.”

Although Kenya’s invite may have contributed to the end of Nene and Cynthia’s friendship. The Swagg Boutique owner appeared to extend a warm welcome to Kenya, who is set to return to the series for Season 12.

“I think Kenya’s great for the show. So I didn’t feel any kind of way other than, look, I’m here on the show. I’ve been on the show for many years, and I want the show to stay around for the next 10 or 15 years,” she shared

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 premieres Sunday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
