Teresa Giudice took to Twitter Thursday to send a message of gratitude to her fans. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star is currently serving out a 15-month prison sentence for fraud at a women’s correctional facility in Danbury, Conn.

The 43-year-old used the social media site to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported her and her family through their lengthy legal struggles. She also gave a special shout out to her loyal fans for "standing by me through this." Teresa ended her message by sending her love -- and lots of it.

This is the second time the incarcerated reality TV star has reached out to fans from behind bars. On May 31 Teresa sent a smiliar tweet, this time directed at everyone who had taken the time to send fan mail to prison. Her tweet was reportedly inspired by a fan-created Twitter campaign to send as many cards and letters as possible in celebration of the reality star's birthday. The message marked the first tweet from the New Jersey Housewife since December 23, just days before she began her prison stay.

Unfortunately it is unlikely that Teresa is actually the one sending these messages. According to the official inmate handbook, provided by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, inmates do not have access to the Internet. It seems more than likely that she reached out to her lawyer or a close friend and had them send both messages.

Teresa entered prison January 5. According to her lawyer, the "RHONJ" star will be released from the facility on December 23. Although she will be returning to the comfort of her New Jersey home, she will not yet be a free woman. Teresa will be confined to house arrest for the remaining months of her sentence. Her husband Joe Giudice will then begin his 41-month prison stay.

While Joe and her four daughters anxiously await her return home, they are keeping busy with projects of their own. Wednesday it was announced that the Giudice's had begun filming a Bravo special chronicling their lives without Teresa. The show will focus on Joe as a temporary single parent and will reportedly shoot up until the last days before he begins serving his time.
