Although kids are usually off-limits when it comes to reality cast feuds, “Real Housewives of New York City” star Leah McSweeney is willing to break the rules when it comes to Ramona Singer’s daughter Avery.

On the Thursday night episode of the Bravo series, viewers saw the cast take a trip to Rhode Island in which Leah became intoxicated. During the episode, Leah struggled to keep her balance and had to be helped by other cast members.

Avery watched the episode alongside Ramona and criticized Leah’s behavior on her Instagram Story. Avery revealed that she was embarrassed for her mother and asked, “How are you associated with them?”

Leah eventually learned about Avery’s comments and threatened to add her and Ramona’s feud. “@ramonasinger are you sure you wanna involved @averysinger in our drama? She’s 25 so she’s fair game to me. In fact, I’m close in age to her than I am to you,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Story.

Prior to the “RHONY” episode, Leah opened up to her fans about why she seemed out of control during the cast trip “Hurricane season is here and tonight its ‘Hurricane Leah.’ I want to preface this episode by saying I went on this trip to Rhode Island not really wanting to even go,” she explained in an Instagram post.

“I didn’t know the women that well at this point, and I was in an already-vulnerable mood. I wanted my sister there for support. She was also six months postpartum and looking forward to her first baby-free overnight trip. Moms: haven’t we all been there?”

Leah went on to explain that she was upset because she wanted her sister to come on the trip, but Ramona wouldn’t allow it. Although she admitted to acting “crazy” at the dinner, she insisted that her behavior was similar to how the other women on the cast have behaved in the past.

“The Real Housewives Of New York City” Season 12 airs Thursday at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
