Just a day after Miley Cyrus' California home burned in the wildfire, a report claimed the singer and Liam Hemsworth canceled their alleged wedding plans and their dreams of having the ceremony at the beachside mansion were "shattered." However, Gossip Cop debunked the report saying the couple had no plans to wed at the Malibu home.

According to RadarOnline, the couple had been planning to marry at their beachside mansion, but after it burnt down they had to "permanently hold" their wedding plans. Cyrus announced Monday night she and her fiancé have been advocating for people to donate to the Malibu Foundation to help those affected by the fires. Cyrus and Hemsworth have donated $500,000 to the Malibu Foundation through the former's Happy Hippie Foundation.

"Miley and Liam lost their home but are very grateful to be safe along with their animals! Their community and state are very special to them and they want to give back to the place that has created so many beautiful memories for themselves and others," a representative for Cyrus said Tuesday.

However, the burning down of the home does not indicate they have put their marriage plans on hold as the couple did dream about having a ceremony at the mansion, Gossip Cop reported.

In August, TMZ reported Cyrus and Hemsworth were in “no rush” to get married, and that the two “may never” wed because “the formality of marriage isn’t important” to them.

This is not the first time rumors have surfaced about Cyrus and Hemsworth's relationship. In July, RadarOnline had wrongly reported the couple had split.

“They’re tired of breaking up and making up... and have come up with a pact to help them walk the line,” a source told Radar Online at the time. “Like spend 21 hours together a week even if it’s just watching TV and allowing each other 14 hours of personal time a week.”

However, the claims about Cyrus and Hemsworth going separate ways were false.

The "Hunger Games" star met Cyrus on the set of the 2009 film "The Last Song." The two have been in an on-again, off -again relationship. They first got engaged in 2012, and broke it off just the following year. After nearly four years of hiatus, the pair recoupled in 2016.
