The Lifetime Christmas Movies continue with the premiere of “Reba McEntire’s Christmas in Tune,” starring Reba McEntire and John Schneider, on Friday night.

While the film’s stars aren’t necessarily known for roles on the network, fans are certainly going to be in for a treat as they will undoubtedly recognize the leads. McEntire made a career as a singer initially, and is known as the “Queen of Country,” but is also an actress and producer as well. Notable roles fans may recognize her for are as June on “Young Sheldon” and Reba Hart on the sitcom series “Reba.”

As for Schnieder, fans may recognize him from 2018’s “Poinsettias for Christmas,” but most likely still recognize him for his role as Bo Duke on “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Since then, other notable roles have included Jim Cryer on “The Haves and the Have Nots,” as well as other films, including the TV movies “Love is In the Air” and “A Royal Christmas Engagement.”

Thye cast is rounded out by Candice King, another new face to Lifetime who is best known for her role as Caroline on both “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals.”

So what will happen when this trio teams up for this project, which McEntire also served as an executive producer for? Let's find out.

“Years after their personal and professional breakup, the singing due of Georgia (McEntire) and Joe Winter (Schneider) agree to reunite after their daughter, Belle (King), asks them to participate in a Christmas Charity concert,” a synopsis reads.

However, the synopsis also teases that once they start spending time together again, the former pair find themselves once again getting back in step with each other, in more ways than one.

Will they find their way back to one another this Christmas?

“Reba McEntire’s Christmas In Tune” airs Friday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
