Both celebrity A-listers Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow have a lot of things in common. Aside from being blonde beauties who have a lot of hit movies under their belts, both women are also dedicated mothers who love to cook.

Paltrow has even released her third cookbook, entitled “It’s All Easy: Delicious Weekday Recipes for the Super-Busy Home Cook,” which was published just this April.

Being the supportive friend that she is, Witherspoon got ahold of a copy and tried to give Paltrow’s recipes a whirl.

On her Instagram account (@reesewitherspoon), the “Legally Blonde” actress shared a photo of herself staring at Paltrow’s cookbook with her tongue out. “Trying my best, @gwynethpaltrow, to make it look like #ItsAllEasy!!! #WishMeLuck __,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Paltrow discussed her new book on her lifestyle blog Goop. She admitted that she’s not a huge breakfast person, so she takes a smoothie before eating salad for lunch with some protein. For dinner, Paltrow feasts and eats whatever she wants.

Paltrow added that people have to learn how to find proper balance in their food. People often feel guilty whenever they eat unhealthy food, but the actress said it’s okay to indulge every once in a while.

“Guilt is a completely useless emotion that keeps us mired in the past and is a trick of the ego,” she said. “I try to eat on the healthier side, but I’ll tell you, when I have my pizza and wine, I enjoy it to the last crust. Delicious food should be eaten with enjoyment. Balance is always important, but let’s face it, nothing is better than a good pizza.”

As for Witherspoon, she is currently planning on exploring sequels to some of her hit movies such as “Legally Blonde” and “Sweet Home Alabama.”

”[Legally Blonde] was really fun,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “A lot of people have asked me if we’re going to make another ‘Legally Blonde,’ and we’re thinking about it.”

For now, there is no news about a “Sweet Home Alabama” sequel, but should Disney decide to pursue it, Witherspoon said she would “happily” do it.
