According to witnesses, Villavisencio swerved to avoid a buzzard in the road and moved into the path of an 18-wheeler about 40 miles outside of College Station. The accident occurred Thursday, when Villavisencio hit the 18-wheeler head-on.

Casey Anthony Sued by Man Who Found Caylee's Body

Roy Kronk, a former meter reader, filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Florida saying that the 25-year-old Anthony tried to put suspicion for her two-year-old child's death on him. He is suing Casey Anthony for damages. Kronk's lawsuit argues that Anthony defamed him during her murder trial this year.

U.S. February crude jumped 90 cents to $99.57 per barrel after reaching a high of $99.87. Brent February crude rose 46 cents to $108.17 per barrel. Trading volumes were light. The oil price increase was different than a week ago when Europe concerns pushed prices below $100.

Santa Pulls Man From Burning Truck (VIDEO)

The truck was burning near the corner of the intersection of Interstate 635 and Belt Line Road. Santa, or Luddeke, was out directing traffic as the truck burned after the two-vehicle collision. An area resident named Margie Culberson took out her iPhone and recorded Santa serving as a good Samaritan.

White Castle is currently testing beer and wine sales at a company location in Lafayette, Ind., according to a report. The White Castle testing alcohol sales is combined with a Blaze Modern BBQ, according to The Associated Press. The Blaze Modern BBQ is new concept also in a sort of beta phase.

Google appears poised to go after the Apple iPad. Schmidt described the iPad as amazing, according to The Telegraph, and said the late Steve Jobs should be credited with creating the tablet craze.
