The 136th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show took place this week in New York with a Pekingese named Malachy winning Best in Show. Among the big dogs competing at the Westminster Dog Show, there were Mastiffs, Great Pyrenees, Golden Retrievers, Great Danes, Boxers, Australian Shepherds, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and Irish Wolfhounds. Westminster Dog Show 2012: Winners of Sporting, Working, Terrier Groups Announced Before ‘Best in Show’

The winners of the Sporting, Working and Terrier groups were announced at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York late Monday. The winners included an Irish Setter named GCH. Shadagee Caught Red Handed, a gorgeous Doberman Pincsher named GCH. Protocol's Veni Vidi Vici, and a beautiful Kerry Blue Terrier. The three winners will join the Group winners from Monday night to compete in Tuesday's Best in Show.

William Patterson Confirmed as Burned Baylor Student Outside Waco, Tex.

McLennan County Police confirmed that the Baylor University student found dead Thursday in the back of a burning Cadillac outside of Waco, Tex., is William Patterson. Patterson had recently begun studying film and digital media at Baylor University after graduating from Churchill High School in San Antonio last year.
