“Resident Evil 3” is looking to follow the footsteps of its predecessor as rumors of its remake skyrocketed after a cover art was discovered on the PlayStation Network.

Apparently, the cover art pieces posted by Nibel on his Twitter account shows Nemesis, the main antagonist in the original 1999 hit, and he's bound to make a comeback. At the same time, Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveria are poised and ready to take on the hordes of zombies and other monsters that are on their way.

On the other hand, PC Gamer spotted some changes on the two protagonists. It said that Oliveria looked like a decade older and is now sporting some scruffy facial hair, while Valentine emits a Lara Croft-esque aura.

Nemesis is still as grumpy as ever, although his iconic rocket launcher is nowhere to be found.

Along this line, Game Spot pointed the three titles which can be vital to the outcome of the “Resident Evil 3” remake. There's the main “Resident Evil 3” title, a Japanese version of the game, “Biohazard 3” and a “Z Version” of “Biohazard 3.”

“This suggests Capcom is preparing to announce the remake, possibly opening pre-orders through PSN at the same time,” it said.

Another leak Nibel posted talked about “Resident Evil Resistance.” Again, two cover arts were shared, with one having the Japanese title.

“Resident Evil Resistance” also appears to be the final name of “Project Resistance,” the co-op survival horror game that launched a closed beta last month, it added.

PC Gamer pointed that there will be two editions of the “Resident Evil 3” remake on the PlayStation 4, but no information on their differences was relayed. Games Radar said that the game was scheduled on be announced in the upcoming Game Awards, but Capcom had it a bit earlier.
