Angelina Jolie’s rumored reaction to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s reunion was revealed earlier this year.

According to a February report from The Hollywood Life, the “Maleficent” star was shocked to know that Pitt and Aniston have gotten close again after photos of the former couple surfaced online. The tabloid quoted an unnamed source as saying that Jolie was aware that Pitt and Aniston were in touch, but she never realized just how close they are.

“It brings up a lot of tough emotions for Angelina but she’s not dwelling on it. As hard as it is for her to know that Brad and Jennifer are hanging out, she knows there’s nothing she can do about it and she is choosing not to focus on her energy there,” the source said at the time.

However, this claim has not been confirmed or denied by Jolie, Pitt, or Aniston’s rep.

Pitt allegedly attended Aniston’s 50th birthday party to show his support to his ex-wife after they started being friendly towards each other again. According to Entertainment Tonight, Aniston decided to include Pitt in her guest list since the actor was in town.

A source told the publication that even though Pitt and Aniston were in the same venue, they didn’t have much interaction with each other. Pitt hung out with some of his friends and Aniston also bonded with some of her pals.

“He came to support her, spoke to other friends of his that were there and headed out. Jen and Brad have remained friends and have spoken with each other quite a few times since they both became single… They are friends and have supported each other through some tough times,” the source said.

The source added that there are no hard feelings between Pitt and Aniston even after they divorced in 2005. After all, the actors have both realized that they would eventually cross paths because they belong to the same industry.

Shortly after their divorce, Pitt started dating Jolie. But their relationship didn’t also last very long. Three years ago, the couple filed for divorce.
