"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice recently revealed that she plans to make a trip to Italy to reunite with her husband Joe after his release from ICE custody. What is she doing to prepare for the trip?

On Tuesday, the reality star shared two photos on her Instagram Story that showed she had visited the Italian Consulate in New York City. The pictures, which can be seen via People, illustrated an Italian flag beside a 9/11 memorial and a shot of a spiral staircase.

According to TMZ, the "RHONJ" personality reportedly completed paperwork so that her husband would be able to obtain an Italian passport. Reportedly, Teresa wants Joe to have the passport so that he will be able to travel to countries that are closer to the U.S., which would make it easier for him to see the four children they share.

Per the publication, Teresa had to vouch for her husband and state that she trusted him not "run off with the kids." However, it appears as though she doesn't have any issue with that. Joe has reportedly already applied for the passport in Italy, but Teresa herself had to be in agreement before one would be issued.

TMZ also reports that Teresa plans to take their children to Italy next week to reunite with Joe as she wants to be sure they have good relationships with their father. It has also been reported that the on-camera reunion will give Teresa a "huge paycheck."

This development comes after the recent airing of their intense Bravo special, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked." Not only did Teresa discuss her relationship with Joe on the program, but she also made several negative comments about former "RHONJ" star Caroline Manzo.

Season 10 of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" premieres Nov. 6 at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
