Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is based off of the Adult Swim animated show Rick and Morty. In the game, you play as a clone of Morty and follow Rick as you travel through various worlds and solve puzzles. The game features voice talent from the show and Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland contributed to Virtual Rick-ality’s development. The game was originally announced in July 2016 and Adult Swim released a brief video teaser showcasing the title’s gameplay:

For Rick and Morty fans, Virtual Rick-ality is slated to be the first of several new updates coming out soon. The show teased the first episode of their long-awaited third season on April Fools' Day and is expected to start showing the rest of the third season of Rick and Morty this summer.

The title also isn’t the first VR outing for Owlchemy Labs and Roiland. Owlchemy Labs is the developer of the popular VR title Job Simulator, where you’re placed into exaggerated versions of various common jobs. Roiland, along with former Epic Games staffer and producer Tanya Watson, founded VR studio Squanchtendo in 2016. Squanchtendo released Accounting, a surreal VR adventure title, last fall.
