Rihanna may not have the lead role in the “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” but the singer stole the show nonetheless during its recent premiere.

On Monday, Rihanna, 29, attended the premiere of “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” in London, England, where she turned heads in a red low-cut Giambattista Valli gown that showed off her tattoos and some major cleavage. She styled her hair in a slicked-back ‘do, with the rest of her long locks cascading down her back in curls. She accessorized the look with ruby earrings and a Chopard bracelet, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Rihanna also took the time to pose with her good friend and co-star Cara Delevingne, 24, on the red carpet. The supermodel looked equally stunning in her plunging black suit and jeweled cape collar. The “Tulip Forever” star also wore a black headband around her blond cropped hair.

Earlier on, the duo made bold fashion statements during the “Valerian” premiere in Hollywood, Californi. The “Diamonds” singer donned a pink princess Giambattista Valli dress with a flowing train. Meanwhile, the “Paper Towns” star wore a futuristic sheer metallic Iris van Herpen gown for the occasion.

According to Daily Mail, Rihanna has been favoring Giambattista Valli gowns for years now. The “Umbrella” singer made waves when she graced the 2008 BET Awards in a lemon yellow dress and then the 2015 Grammy Awards in a pink princess gown from the same Italian designer. According to Glamour, the singer-actress loves making bold fashion choices as she “can make anything look good” and “make oversized-EVERYTHING look amazing.”

In “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” Rihanna will be playing the role of Bubbles, a shapeshifting alien.

Aside from the new movie, she is also set to appear in “Ocean’s Eight” alongside Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Ann Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina, Daily Mail noted. “Ocean’s Eight” is an all-female spinoff of George Clooney’s “Ocean’s Eleven.” The plot will center around the eight women, led by Bullock, as they plan and execute a heist in New York.

Bullock plays the ex-con sister of Danny Ocean (Clooney) from the first three installments. A number of popular faces are set to make a cameo in the film, including Kim Kardashian, Matt Damon, Zayn Malik, Anna Wintour and Adriana Lima.
