KEY POINTS

  • Randy Orton has completed 20 years in the WWE Company
  • He is a 10-time WWE Champion
  • Orton has claimed Roman Reigns will soon leave WWE for Hollywood

Former WWE Champion Randy Orton has taken a dig at undisputed champion Roman Reigns.

Orton, who recently celebrated his 20th anniversary in WWE, claimed that Reigns would betray the WWE Company and move to Hollywood, just like the former’s cousin The Rock (Dwayne Johnson).

In a video released on YouTube, Orton uttered pride in being the only WWE superstar other than The Undertaker to have never gone anywhere else. And he believes, the Tribal Chief won’t be able to do so.

"You know, a lot of people ask me what my legacy will be. I think, if we are talking WWE more specifically my legacy will be that I was the next guy after The Undertaker. The only person that never went anywhere else, and had more matches, more titles, and more accolades," Orton said.

The 10-time WWE Champion went on to add that he is certain that Reigns have Johnson’s agent’s number on speed dial.

"I don’t care. Roman Reigns, I’m sure he’s got Dwayne Johnson’s agent’s number on speed dial. Roman will be in Hollywood — I’ll still be here. I’m in my prime, ladies, and gentlemen. I’ve got a long way to go. My legacy will be that I did it longer than anybody," added Orton.

Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to win a unified WWE and Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38 earlier this month in Texas. There have been several instances where the Tribal Chief has mentioned being open to bigger opportunities that will come his way.

It was previously reported by Wrestling Inc that WWE were planning to help Reigns cross over to Hollywood.

Moreover, many superstars after making a name for themselves in the WWE choose to head over to Hollywood. The prominent names among them are Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and John Cena. The Rock left WWE for Hollywood in the early 2000s. He was offered "The Scorpion King." Ever since John Cena left for Hollywood in 2017, he has become a part-timer in the WWE Company.

If Orton stays alongside WWE for another 10 years then he could become only the second superstar after The Undertaker who has worked for the WWE for three decades on a stretch, according to The Sports Rush.
