The royal family is very lucky to have Meghan Markle.

Royal author Elizabeth Renzetti recently told “The Weekly With Wendy Mesley” that the royal family seems to have hit the jackpot when Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry last year.

“People say she is lucky, they are lucky to have her because she is beautiful, she is intelligent, she is ambitious, she is determined, and she is American. Americans have always loved the monarchy and Canadians as well as… I think more than British people do,” she said.

The fact that Markle is an American who married a British man has been instrumental in forging terrific ties of strength between the two countries. One of the biggest results is the fact that more Americans wants to travel to Britain, and this could pump up the economy of the latter.

“Also, Anglo-American ties are not particularly strong at the moment, as we know, so perhaps this will help forge bonds more strongly, that’s a win,” she added.

Markle wed Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19. They will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary this month. Five months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child.

Rumors claimed that Markle has already given birth of Baby Sussex. But some royal fans are convinced that she hasn’t welcomed her first child. Markle and Prince Harry have decided to keep their baby’s birth private and will only share the news after they have celebrated as a family.

While waiting for the announcement, it has been said that Queen Elizabeth II already visited Markle at Frogmore Cottage. Her Majesty reportedly gave the “Suits” alum some tips about being a first-time mom. The monarch also reminded Markle that babies – especially firstborn ones – do not normally arrive on time.

Prince William and Kate Middleton also visited Markle and Prince Harry at home on Easter Sunday.
