Another day, another Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leak. The latest leak is of an alleged poster for the Note 9, and it gives everyone a look at the new S Pen and the smartphone’s ports.

The poster for the Galaxy Note 9 was leaked by Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) on Twitter. The poster might be one of the promotional materials that Samsung will be using during its upcoming Unpacked event, which is scheduled to take place in New York City on Aug. 9. It’s expected that the Galaxy Note 9 will make its first official appearance during the event.

The poster shows the back of the Galaxy Note 9 in its purple color option, which is likely to be called “Lilac Purple” like previous Samsung smartphones, as pointed out by 9To5Google. The color might not be new, but the color combination of the Note 9 with the new S Pen is definitely new. The S Pen shown in the poster comes in gold. This is the same shade that Samsung used for its Note 9 teaser from last month.

This might actually be the first time that the S Pen will feature a contrasting color to that of the actual handset. It’s possible that Samsung is not doing this just for aesthetics and it might be intended to highlight the new S Pen’s functionalities. Previous leaks have suggested that the new S Pen for the Note 9 could come with its own battery and will likely have Bluetooth support. It remains unclear how exactly the S Pen will use its Bluetooth functionality, but it’s been speculated that it might provide music playback control.

The poster for the Galaxy Note 9 also shows the device’s bottom edge. The image shows that the handset will come with a bottom-firing speaker, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor is also visible and it is indeed located at the bottom of the dual cameras instead of being on the side of the camera module. Like the Galaxy S9 and S9+, the Note 9 appears to have a glass back, as pointed out by BGR.

Samsung is expected to officially announce the Galaxy Note 9 on Aug. 9. Pricing for the device may have also been leaked in Poland. The base model of the Note 9, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, will apparently cost PLN 4,299 (around US$1,160), according to the Polish website Spider's Web. The price was allegedly revealed by a Samsung employee during a pre-briefing for the device. The official U.S. price for the Note 9 might not be as expensive since smartphones typically cost more in Europe.
