A brush fire broke out in Simi Valley, near Santa Susana Pass Road, California, on Sunday evening, burning at least 10 acres. Two lanes of Highway 118 were closed for a brief period of time due to the blaze.

According to reports, the fire was ignited by a vehicle that went off the side of the road and toppled electric poles. The driver of the vehicle was hospitalized with third-degree burns to his hands and face. The individual has not been identified yet and his condition is still unknown.

The fire was first reported around 5 p.m. local time (8 p.m. EDT) and firefighters arrived at the scene around 6 p.m. local time (9 p.m. EDT).

No evacuations or damages to structures were reported, however, power lines were down on the Santa Susana Pass Road. The fire was initially called the “Rocky Fire” but authorities changed the name to “Susana Fire.”
