Sarah Ferguson reportedly supports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to quit the royal family.

While speaking with Closer Weekly, a source said that the Duchess of York understands why the royal couple felt the need to leave the Firm.

“Fergie totally supports Harry and Meghan’s decision to move to North America and can’t blame them for going. She always had a soft spot for Meghan,” the source said.

The insider also talked about the rumors that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will be taking over some of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal duties.

“[Beatrice] and Eugenie have already offered to help out with Harry’s duties — as a polite gesture, but the queen isn’t planning to allocate all of them to the sisters. Fergie’s concerned about Bea’s stress levels and is trying to calm her down,” the source said.

Princess Beatrice is reportedly feeling overwhelmed by everything that’s going on in her life. Other than the scandal involving her dad, Prince Andrew, she is also busy planning her wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The source said that Princess Beatrice may put on a brave front but she’s actually pretty stressed.

Meanwhile, Ferguson also weighed in on Markle’s struggles in December during her interview with Vogue Arabia. The mom of two said that she understands what the Duchess of Sussex is going through. She also said that she can relate to Archie’s mom.

After all, the Duchess of York has been on Markle’s shoes decades ago. Ferguson was heavily criticized by the media while her former best friend, Princess Diana, was praised for her every move.

Prince Andrew’s wife also made headlines years ago after she photographed in a toe-sucking scandal with John Bryan. The snap shows Ferguson vacationing with the business tycoon, who was seemingly sucking her toes.

The controversial photo made frontpage news, and it became one of the reasons why Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s divorce was finalized.
