Scheana Shay Reveals Her True Feelings On 'Vanderpump Rules' Editor Being Fired

After eight seasons on Bravo's "Vanderpump Rules," Scheana Shay finally feels vindicated.

As fans of the show know, Scheana tends to lean a little on the "boy-crazy" end of the spectrum but in recent seasons she's felt that editors for the show have taken it a little too far -- like the Season 8 episode which was edited to make it seem as though she were hitting on her co-star's much younger brother. So when (now former) "Vanderpump Rules" editor, Bri Dellinger, admitted to intentionally reworking scenes to embarrass the 35-year-old reality star, she jumped at the opportunity to expose the truth but also admitted that she was very hurt by the admission.

"I was crying," Scheana revealed on the "Better Together" podcast released on Wednesday. "I was so upset, but at the end of the day I put on this Dashboard Confessional song 'Vindicated' and I was like just like, 'It feels good. I may be boy-crazy, but I’m not just crazy.'"

Dellinger has since been fired which Scheana chalks up to the editor's own actions.

"She broke her agreement that she signed up to do with the show," she said. "When you don’t follow the rules, you get in trouble for it."

The "Good As Gold" singer isn't naive though and realizes that her edit was not solely at the hands of one member of the "Vanderpump Rules" production staff.

"She’s not the final call. Someone still has approved this. Someone still said, 'Oh, my God, yeah Bri, we think this is a great idea. Let’s make Scheana look like she’s hitting on a 14-year-old. This is hilarious,'" she explained. "Someone thought this was also a good idea. And it probably wasn’t just someone, it was probably several people."

As Scheana's off-screen drama comes to a close, her on-screen drama still remains in limbo -- at least for fans. Although the "Vanderpump Rules" season finale aired on May 19, followed by a "Secrets Revealed" episode on May 26, viewers will have to wait until the Season 8 reunion to find out where her relationships with her fellow co-stars stand since filming ended.

The "Vanderpump Rules" Season 8 reunion airs Tuesday, June 2 at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
