Fans of "Vanderpump Rules" know that Season 8 of the series was a wild ride for the cast but there was one moment in particular that left even the production staff dazed and confused. That moment, of course, involved none other than Jax Taylor.

Viewers watched as the 40-year-old Bravo reality star flipped out and sent a barrage of nasty text messages to his new costar Max Boyens about a beach cleanup event. The lashing out leads to Max, and eventually, a few other cast members, being uninvited to a pool party Jax's wife and costar, Brittany Cartwright had planned.

It was this exchange that "rattled producers the most this year," according to Bravo TV.

"That was probably most baffling since Max was genuinely trying to do a good deed," producers explained, adding that Jax is a "very transparent" person and "says what’s on his mind and doesn’t beat around the bush."

Jax's outburst can likely be accredited to the downward spiral he was on following his Kentucky wedding. During this time the "Vanderpump Rules" Season 1 veteran was at odds with most of the cast, including his longtime best friend Tom Sandoval, who he hadn't talked to for months after filming.

"Jax did go through, like, an after-wedding depression type-mode, where he was kind of spiraling for a minute, but it wasn't between me and him," Brittany shared in an interview in March.

"It was between him and his friends, so that's something people are gonna see," she elaborated. "There was a couple, well, like two weeks, maybe, where Jax was very upset."

The "Vanderpump Rules" Season 8 finale aired on May 19 but fans have to wait until June 2 to see the cast finish hashing out their issues. Although it's best to tune in to find out what really goes down, and if the teaser is any indication, the reunion is bound to be full of drama, can't miss moments, and hopefully, answers to the questions fans really want to know.

Part one of the "Vanderpump Rules" Season 8 reunion special airs Tuesday, June 2, at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
