Bravo team will head to Afghanistan in “SEAL Team” Season 3, episode 17. A preview video has been released online that shows Jason (David Boreanaz) leading his men into dangerous territory and this time his friend Sonny (A.J. Buckley) will not be with him.

The war in Afghanistan has ended and it is time for peace negotiations. However, the preview video of the next episode shows the country is still hostile territory for the soldiers, who have to face armed men of the Taliban.

Bravo team knows it is heading into a war zone. They will go in to face explosions and the bullets. The preview video shows the soldiers finding something shocking during one of their operations.

Meanwhile, Sonny will have to report to an Air Force base in Texas as a part of his disciplinary action. There, he will be reunited with his childhood friend Hannah (Rachel Boston). Preview stills of the next episode that have been posted on TV Insider show Sonny taking some time off to relax in “SEAL Team” Season 3, episode 17.

John Savage appears to be playing the role of Sonny’s father Emmet. The preview stills show Hannah driving Sonny to the place where his father stays. One of the stills from the next episode shows Hannah and Emmet hugging, which suggests that they were well acquainted.

Hannah and Emmet share a meal in another photo, while Sonny can be seen standing outside the house. Sonny and his father appear to get into an awkward and tense conversation in another still.

The next episode is special because it has been directed by cast member Max Thieriot, who plays the role of the character Clay Spenser. A behind-the-scenes picture shows Thieriot going over the script with Buckley.

“SEAL Team” Season 3, episode 17 is titled “Drawdown.” It will be released on April 8 at 9 p.m. EDT.
