Selena Gomez has revealed that one endearing advice she gave to her half-sister Gracie Teefey before walking down the red carpet for the animated movie “Frozen 2.”

According to E! News, the 27-year-old musician admitted that walking down the red carpet with her sister was one of the “coolest feelings” ever and also noted that she gave her a piece of advice which could help her during the event.

Speaking with Nick Grimshaw on “Sounds,” the “Lose You To Love Me” hitmaker opened up about the amazing time she and her younger sister had at the premiere and confessed that sharing such an extraordinary moment with her sister was undoubtedly her favorite showbiz moment ever.

While spilling all the details, Gomez noted that before stepping onto the red carpet she told Gracie that if she ever got nervous in front of the cameras, she just needs to pull Gomez’s hand and she will take her sister off “immediately.” But the “Good For You” singer was in for a surprise.

As soon as they started walking, Gomez quickly realized that her sister was more than comfortable in front of all the paparazzi.

“She walked straight on the carpet and has her full moment with the feathers. I am standing there, and I am like, ‘Gracie, get me in the picture too,’” Gomez said.

The sisters were twinning at the event. The duo wore identical winter princess outfits that had massive, feather-topped sequined capes. The photos turned out to be a massive hit and accumulated more than 8.1 million likes on Instagram.

In related news, stylist Kate Young, who helped Gomez get ready for the 2019 American Music Awards, the dress had a deeper meaning. Speaking in an interview with Hollywood Life, the celebrity stylist revealed that the Versace dress highlighted a “bright and positive new chapter” for the musician.

The stylist also explained that she wanted the “Good For You” hitmaker to feel “bright” and “positive” for stepping into a “new era.”

The superstar also revealed that 2019 has been one of the best years of her life, professionally and personally because she has achieved a lot of things that she did not think she would be able to this year.

“I can say that I am so proud of how hard I worked, and I that I truly am excited to just sit back with my family, and enjoy, and turn off everything,” Gomez said.
