The “Sense8” cast are sharing their excitement with fans. The cast members are currently filming the movie special that is set to wrap up the sci-fi series, and they’re showing fans what’s happening behind-the-scenes with photos and videos from exotic filming locations.

Freema Ageyman has been keeping fans updated on both of her current projects. She is balancing starring in the West End play “Apologia” with filming the Netflix drama. The actress revealed that she arrived in Paris to film Sunday, and it looks like her character Amanita will be spending plenty of time with her fiancée Nomi (Jamie Clayton) while in the city of love.

Clayton, meanwhile, revealed that Bug (Michael X. Sommers) will also be around, but it isn’t clear if he’ll be in Paris. The actress posted a Boomerang with Ageyman and Sommers a few days before the cast started sharing all the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe photos.

Tony Onwumere, who plays Capheus, posted his own Eiffel Tower picture.

Lito actor Miguel Angel Silvestre posted a group shot that revealed the cast enjoying some cheese and wine. Onwumere added that he and Brian J. Smith (Will) are the hungry ones, and Tina Desai (Kala) posted another lunch photo as well as some photos of the city.

It seems the “Sense8” cast knows how to keep a secret. Not much has been revealed about the special, and these photos don’t confirm anything more. However, “Sense8” viewers might already know why the gang is in Paris, despite not having a French member of the cluster.

At the end of Season 2, Kala’s husband Rajan (Purab Kohli) was in some sort of sketchy business deal and he wanted to send Kala away. He had arranged for her to go to Paris. She changed her itinerary once Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) was kidnapped by Whispers (Terrence Mann). The entire cluster headed to London to save him. However, it looks like the sensates will have a European adventure. Before filming in Paris, they were in Berlin.

Unfortunately, this might be their last adventure. After the sci-fi series was canceled earlier this year, Netflix heard fans’ complaints and brought it back for a one-off special to wrap up the massive cliffhanger at the end of Season 2. It’s being advertised as a finale, but executive producer Lana Wachowski hinted that it might not be the end. “Sense8” Season 3 is always possible.

“It is my great pleasure as well as Netflix’s (believe me, they love the show as much as we do, but the numbers have always been challenging) to announce that there will be another two hour special released next year. After that… if this experience has taught me anything, you NEVER know,” she wrote in June.

Even Agyeman corrected the “Finale” title on her ID. “I know I know—‘SPECIAL!’” she wrote in the caption.

The “Sense8” special is expected to air in 2018.
