South Korean boy band SHINee officially announced plans to hold an online concert following the release of the group’s latest album "Don’t Call Me."

On Thursday, SM Entertainment took to social media to make the surprise announcement about hosting the band’s first-ever online concert titled "SHINee World." The upcoming concert is set to take place on April 4 at 3.00 p.m. KST (1.00 a.m. EST). It will also mark the band’s first concert in over three years.

Shawols (SHINee’s fandom) from all over the globe can tune into the concert via Beyond Live, an online concert live-streaming platform launched by SM Entertainment and Naver. According to the agency, the tickets for the concert will be available for pre-order from March 18 at 3.00 p.m. KST (1.00 a.m. EST) via Naver’s V Live application.

The news was announced following the band’s long-awaited comeback with the release of its seventh full-length album and music video on Feb. 22. The new album titled "Don't Call me" consists of nine songs including the title track with the same name, "Heart Attack," "Marry You," "Attention," "I Really Want You," "CØDE," "Kiss Kiss," "Body Rhythm," and "Kind."

SHINee debuted under SM Entertainment in 2008 and is best-known for its live vocals, highly synchronized dance choreographies, and distinct fashion sense. It has since released many popular and catchy songs including "Sherlock," "Lucifer," "Ring Ding Dong," "Dream Girl," "Why So Serious," and more.

"Don’t Call Me" is the group’s latest full-length album and was released after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus from the music industry. Since its release, the band has successfully topped music charts and bagged several music show wins.

"The song is really great. It feels like it breaks the mold of the songs we released up until now with a single strong punch. It’s the song that Lee Soo Man treasured the most and was also in a line-up of possible songs for BoA‘s title track," the members had said while talking about the title track during an online press conference.

Fans can look forward to power-packed performances from the members -- Onew, Taemin, Minho, and Key -- in the upcoming concert, which is expected to include performances from some of their greatest hit songs and also from their latest album.
