UPDATE: 3:28 a.m. EDT — An official tweet from the Air Force Academy in Colorado said the shooter situation on campus hd concluded.
All clear: The incident has concluded. There are no confirmed shots fired & no injuries. Everyone is safe.

UPDATE: 2:35 a.m. EDT — According to a tweet from another journalist, the active shooter situation at the Air Force Academy in Colorado is close to being declared as resolved, after law enforcement officials couldn't find a shooter anywhere on the campus.

UPDATE: 2:25 a.m. EDT — The El Paso County Sherrif's Office put out a statement saying a search of the dorms at the academy had not found any injured people or the shooter.

UPDATE: 2:15 a.m. EDT — Carly Moore, a reporter with Fox News, said the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said there were no injuries reported yet and that the shooter had not been found either.

UPDATE: 2:05 a.m. EDT — An alleged recording of a scene from a dorm building was shared on Twitter by Yaquarri Adams, who said his son received it from another cadet. It shows what seem to be law enforcement officials sweeping the building.

UPDATE: 1:45 a.m. EDT — Following reports of a shooter at the Air Force Academy in Colorado, an official statement from the academy said security forces were sweeping the area.
We received reports of active shooter on Academy grounds. There are no confirmation of shots fired. Security forces are sweeping the area.

Meanwhile, people from inside the academy kept tweeting about the movements of the suspected shooter.
Original story — Multiple social media reports late Friday indicated there was an active shooter situation underway at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado.
Connor Clancy, a cadet with the Air Force, said on Twitter at 9.09 p.m. PDT Friday (12:09 a.m. EDT Saturday) there was an active shooter at the training facility. He said the shooter was last seen by a bowling alley/base housing. The tweet also urged people to get somewhere safe.
In a series of tweets, he provided other information about the situation as it unfolded.
Soon after, a number of other people who were at the academy also began putting out messages that confirmed the active shooter situation.
