Just a couple of months after their red-carpet debut as a couple, Simu Liu and Jade Bender's relationship seems to have come to an end.

The 33-year-old "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" actor opened up about "going through a breakup" during an interview at the Dreamforce tech conference in San Francisco last week.

During the interview, Salesforce executive vice president Jody Kohner asked Liu about his process of "prioritizing health and therapy," referencing his post earlier this month in which he got candid about how his sudden rise to fame affected him.

"How are you today?" Kohner asked.

"I'm OK, I'm OK," the actor said. "I'm learning to prioritize myself, I'm becoming more and more comfortable with the idea of therapy and support systems... It really just hit me recently just how burnt out I was."

"I experienced moments where I'm living my dream and it didn't quite feel like I was where I needed to be with myself," he continued. "I'm also going through a breakup. That's probably also contributing to it but that's OK, I'll be OK."

Liu celebrated the first anniversary of the release of "Shang-Chi" in a Sept. 3 Instagram post where he talked about being "unprepared to deal with the mental ramifications of a life lived in public."

"I was suddenly catapulted into a stratosphere I had no business being in, and was woefully unprepared to deal with the mental ramifications of a life lived in public," he wrote in the caption of the post, which showed him with his "Shang-Chi" co-stars Awkwafina and Destin Daniel Cretton posing for photos during the world premiere of the Marvel movie.

"I felt like I was riding the hell out of the learning curve, crushing all my talk show appearances and interviews, but I was also neglecting to spend the necessary time to check in with myself and prioritize my mental health...I've barely had time to breathe because I've been so afraid of taking my foot off the gas," he noted further.

Liu and Bender were first spotted on a date in a West Hollywood restaurant in June. The pair made their relationship red carpet official at the 2022 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on July 20.
