'Sing 2' Premiere: Reese Witherspoon Poses With Daughter Ava, Scarlett Johansson [Photos]

Reese Witherspoon attended the premiere of the animated musical comedy movie "Sing 2," along with her daughter Sunday evening. She posed with co-stars Scarlett Johansson and Tori Kelly.

The 45-year-old actress also walked the red carpet with her 22-year-old daughter Ava Elizabeth.

A Twitter user shared a photo of Witherspoon and Ava posing together at the event and noted that they look more like sisters, rather than mother and daughter.

"Youthful: Reese Witherspoon, 45, turned back the clock alongside and looked more like a sister to her daughter Ava Phillippe, 22, at the premiere of Sing 2 in Los Angeles on Sunday," the user wrote.

The actress could be seen wearing a checkered red and pink minidress, while Ava donned a minidress in black. The mother-daughter duo donned matching sandals.

Witherspoon took to Instagram on Monday to share some snaps from the event. One of them was a selfie with actors Matthew McConaughey and Nick Kroll. While McConaughey donned a formal brown suit, Kroll wore a blue suit with a turtleneck t-shirt.

The next photo shows the actress posing with her co-stars Johansson and Kelly. In the photo, the actress donned a black jacket on her red and pink minidress, while Johansson wore a red jacket on a red and pink minidress. The "Black Widow" actress completed her look with a belt around her waist.

Kelly wore a frilled pink gown with a black overcoat. In the third photo, Witherspoon was all smiles as she posed with McConaughey. In the last photo, the actress posed with her husband Jim Toth.

"Getting the band back together! We can't wait to #Sing along with you, in theaters on December 22 @singmovie," Witherspoon captioned the photos.

Many celebrities, including Viola Davis, Brian Bowen Smith and Ali Larter, shared their excitement for the movie.

"Sing 2" revolves around a bunch of animals who learn the power of music and how it can heal broken hearts. The movie is helmed by director Garth Jennings and it is slated to release on Dec. 22. The first installment of the movie was dropped in 2016 with the same star cast.
