“Sister Wives” fans haven’t seen a whole lot of what’s been going on with the Brown family since the last episodes of the show aired on TLC in April, and the network hasn’t revealed yet if the family will be featured in another new season of episodes in 2021. Of course, should the family chronicle their lives on television again, there will be plenty of stories for them to share.

TLC usually brings the show back in January of each year but has not announced any plans for Season 15 yet in 2021. While it’s unclear if the show has been canceled, or if a new season could be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the family has certainly been finding ways to keep busy—and may have plenty of news to share if they have been filming.

Here are four storylines the Browns could still share with fans.

How Life In Flagstaff Has Changed

A large portion of the Brown family moved from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2018, and fans saw on the most recent season of the show that they weren’t warmly welcomed by all in the city—with Meri even being forced out of her first rental home because the neighbors weren’t keen on a polygamist living next door. Now that the family has been there for two years, fans would likely want to see if things changed over the course of 2019.

However, there may not be good news on that front—as Kody recently revealed that the family still doesn’t seem to be well-liked by some people in their new home city.

“We’re not popular around here,” he told The Sun in December.

An unnamed neighbor also reportedly spoke to the publication to echo the statement, stating that they and others didn’t like the family’s presence in town because it reflected badly on their reputation.

“We wish they weren’t here because they make Flagstaff look as though everyone has all these wives,” the neighbor said.

If the family still isn’t popular—and still hasn’t had luck building on their property out there—fans may start to wonder if another move could be in the works.

Mykelti’s Pregnancy

The Brown family is officially preparing to welcome another grandchild into the fold when 2021 hits, as Mykelti, Christine and Kody's second-oldest daughter, revealed in September that she and her husband, Tony Padron, were expecting their first child together. They went on in October to announce that the baby was a girl, meaning Kody was going to have his second granddaughter.

While the couple has been absent from the show in recent seasons (Kody revealed it was due to Tony’s job, though the couple also does live in Utah), chronicling how they broke the news to the family would be a great addition to the show, and Mykelti seemed certain on Instagram that the series had a chance of coming back recently, replying to a fan comment on one of her posts about a season that family was “probably” doing one.

The Quarantine Factor

Like everyone else in the country during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Brown family was forced to make some changes in their lives as stay-at-home orders and quarantines were put into place to help slow the spread of the contagious virus. Fans are likely curious to know how that played out with the Brown family, who were all separated into not only different homes in Flagstaff but in different parts of the town completely, with their rentals scattered everywhere.

Of course, fans did speculate at points throughout the year that Kody likely had only been with Robyn, who is seen as his “favorite” wife among viewers, especially as he seemed to be absent during other big events with the children he shared with Christine and Janelle.

Meri And Kody’s Relationship Status

Naturally, while they’ve been struggling for years on the show, fans can’t get enough of what exactly is going on between Kody and his first wife, Meri, whom fans have often speculated isn’t really with the family any longer since she is independent. While fans likely don’t want to see Meri’s catfishing scandal rehashed again, they would likely be curious to see if/how the pandemic may have affected the couple’s relationship, since Meri was unable to travel as much for her various business ventures throughout the year.
