The truth will soon be revealed! Or at least, that’s what Meri Brown, star of the hit TLC series “Sister Wives,” claimed on Twitter regarding the scandalous storyline of her divorce from Kody Brown.

“Can I just say tabloid? Or media? Come on, you guys have got to be smarter than that! ;-) Watch my REAL reason on March 1. ‪#SisterWives,” she teased through a Tweet.

On Sunday’s episode, Meri announced that she was seeking a divorce from Kody for the benefit of the family. By splitting from Kody in the eyes of Nevada law, this would allow her husband to be legally bound to Robyn, the youngest of the sister wives. So, why would Meri, the first and original wife, give up her status for Kody’s fourth spiritual spouse? Well, it was so Robyn’s children from her previous marriage could receive health benefits like the rest of Kody’s offspring.

As selfless as Meri’s decision was, the synopsis for the show's season finale teases that it will still stir up problems for the Brown family. “There are some big changes going on in the Brown family that will affect everyone,” the summary reveals.

The two-hour season finale, which will include an emotional tell-all at 9 p.m. EST, will focus on Meri confronting her family and the fellow sister wives about her heartbreaking divorce from Kody.

“The word divorce is like shattering glass,” Kody says in the promo with Meri by his side.

The sneak peek video for the show’s season finale teaes Meri signing what looks like divorce papers. “My heart’s pounding,” she says while jotting down her John Hancock.

So, how will Meri’s fellow sister wives react to the family’s restructure? Christine admits in the promo video that she was completely blindsided by the impending swap of the wives. “I did not see that coming at all,” she confesses. Meanwhile, Janelle will share her concerns regarding Robyn becoming Kody’s legal wife. “I’m worried that it changes the dynamic,” Janelle reveals.

Although Meri will no longer be Kody’s legal wife, she will still be very much involved in the family, according to She Knows, who added that Meri and Kody won't be splitting up.
