The Lifetime Christmas Movies continue with the premiere of "Six Degrees of Santa," starring Kathryn Davis and Steve Lund, on Sunday night.

The movie will be a treat, as it is likely going to be the first time Lifetime fans might be familiar with the stars. While Davis did have a supporting role in "A Christmas Exchange," she hasn't starred in other films on the network. However, holiday films aren't new for her—other roles have included the Hallmark film "A Christmas Carousel," as well as the UpTV titles "Christmas with a prince" and "Christmas on 5th Avenue."

As for Lund, he is also a veteran of holiday films, but not on Lifetime. His previous films include Netflix's "Single All the Way," Hallmark Movies & Mysteries "A Mrs. Miracle Christmas" and "Unlocking Christmas," and the Hallmark Channel films "Baby It's Cold Inside" and "The Christmas Cottage."

So what can fans expect from this film? According to a synopsis, an unexpected Christmas gift brings about a new holiday romance.

"Christmas enthusiast and single mom Harper (Davis) has created a program, Six Degrees of Santa, in which anonymous 'Santas' give a gift and set of instructions to be passed along, temporarily enjoyed, and re-gifted, indefinitely," the synopsis reads. "Her goal is to create a Christmas experience that's real-life, magical and unexpected."

The unexpected turns out to come in the form of the newest gift recipient—who has quite the connection to Harper.

"When Harper's own gift lands in the hands of a leading internet entrepreneur, Jason (Lund), he's convinced that the original Santa might be his soulmate," the synopsis continues. "He seeks out Harper, as the architect of the program, to help him track down this mystery woman."

Will Harper reveal herself to be the woman Jason is looking for?

"Six Degrees of Santa" airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
