Katey Sagal is recovering at a hospital after being hit by a car earlier this week.

The "Sons of Anarchy" star was struck by a vehicle when she was crossing the street as a pedestrian in Los Angeles Thursday, TMZ reported, citing law enforcement sources.

The accident occurred after a Tesla made a left turn while she was in a crosswalk. The driver reportedly stopped to help Sagal, and she was transported to a local hospital and treated for injuries.

The incident remains under investigation, but no citations and arrests have been made. There were also no drugs or alcohol involved, TMZ reported.

A rep for Sagal confirmed in a statement to NBC News Friday that the actress was "involved in an accident yesterday in Los Angeles. She was transported to a local hospital and treated for her injuries. She will be fine and is going home today."

The actress is known for her roles as Peggy Bundy on "Married...With Children" and Gemma Teller Morrow on "Sons of Anarchy." She also starred in "8 Simple Rules" and "Shameless" and voiced Leela in "Futurama."

Sagal currently appears on "The Conners." Days before the accident, she teased what fans can expect from this season when she shared a first look at her character and Dan (John Goodman) participating in the ABC revival's wedding special.

In the snap she posted on Instagram, Sagal poses in a wedding gown with a bouquet in hand, while Goodman looks dapper in his black tuxedo.

Sagal has appeared on the sitcom since Season 1, when she was introduced as an old high school chum of Dan's who recently returned to Lanford.

Although Sagal has starred in several hit movies and shows over the years, she was once told that she would never make it on TV.

"I was told years ago when my dad sent me to casting people that I would never work in television," Sagal said. "'You are not [the] TV type,' they said to me. 'You should go to New York, you should just be on the stage. You will never work in television.' F–k them. I showed them."
