Detailed, beautiful and extraordinary: These are just some of the words Sophie Hunter used to describe her wedding dress. She and husband Benedict Cumberbatch quietly said their nuptials at the Isle of Wight in England on Valentine’s Day. More than a month later, fans finally got a glimpse of her gorgeous dress when the Valentino Instagram account shared a picture from one of Hunter’s fitting.

“Beautiful Sophie Hunter with Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli prepping her couture dress for her March wedding to Benedict Cumberbatch,” the official Valentino account wrote. The hashtag “magic moment” was added.

Renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz photographed Hunter for Vogue magazine. More than 40,000 liked the image and thousands of people commented.

Hunter, 37, is pregnant with the couple’s first child and her burgeoning baby bump can be seen peeping out through the empire dress. Typically, wedding dresses are in shades of white, ivory or champagne, but Hunter went for a unique look with silver.

That wasn’t the only thing that was different. Typically, brides go for a strapless look, But Hunter’s had a high neckline and long lace sleeves.

“It feels very much of nature, and it’s so detailed and extraordinary that I’m still trying to get my head around how beautiful it is,” Hunter said, according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail. “When two people meet and it’s the right combination, it does ground you suddenly.”

The photo will be featured in the upcoming April issue of Vogue.

Aside from his work on the hit series “Sherlock,” Cumberbatch has several movies in the works, according to the Internet Movie Database. Future films include “Black Mass,” “Jungle Book: Origins,” “National Theatre Live: Hamlet,” “Doctor Strange” and “Flying Horse.”
