Sony Pictures Entertainment shared a new video, titled "Ned's Bogus Adventure," that showed footage from the movie, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," featuring Ned Leeds (played by Jacob Batalon) as a lead.

While Tom Holland plays the lead in the movie, the new clip shared on YouTube on Thursday showed Ned's character in a different light. Ned is shown entering the multiverse of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. The character can be seen crossing over various timelines in this fun video.

At the end of the funny "Ned's Bogus Adventure" video, Sony announced that "Spider-Man," "Spider-Man 2," "Spider-Man 3," "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home" are now available on Blu-Ray and Digital.

"Take a trip through the Multiverse with magic’s newest master: Ned!" Sony wrote in the description.

Fans immediately took to the comments section to share their reactions.

"Jacob Batalon doesn't get nearly enough recognition as he should," one of the fans wrote. Another fan agreed, saying: "Ned having his own movie or on tv series would be the most watched best thing of all time as he is the most underrated character of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man series."

As the title suggested, the video was just for fun, but many fans demanded in the comments that they should make a movie or series based on Ned's character. In the movie, the character plays Spider-Man's sidekick.

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" was dropped in theaters on Dec. 17. The movie was helmed by director Jon Watts and it also stars Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Willem Dafoe, Benedict Cumberbatch and Alfred Molina.

Actress Kirsten Dunst, who worked in the first installment of the Spider-Man released in 2002, opened up about her return to the Marvel movies via multiverse last month.

"You know I’d join that multiverse! I feel like I’m the only one that hasn’t joined it," the 39-year-old actress told Backstage Magazine. "I’m like, ‘Please put me in. Put me in the lineup. I need to pay for my house and kids.’"

Considering Marvel's upcoming movies, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" is slated to release on May 6. Fans will also get to see "Thor: Love & Thunder" starring Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi. The movie is scheduled to come out on July 8, 2022.
